Construct a skirt while learning basic concepts of garment construction. This class is for those who already know how to use a sewing machine but wish to learn new techniques or refine their skills by working on a garment. Learn quick factory techniques, or enhance your project with couture details. Start to gain a concept of fit, fabric and fashion awareness for your body type. Learn how to read a pattern, take proper measurements and alter your pattern for a better fit. Instruction includes techniques for zippers, waistbands, seam and hem finishes.
