Shrinky Flowers are not created using standard appliqué techniques; instead they are created in a two-step process. The first step is to create the unique fabric by combining your fabric with Heat N Shrink stabilizer. When steamed, the Heat N Shrink shrinks the fabric 30% and creates interesting patterns. You then use the shrunken fabric as the appliqué fabric on the your flowers.
