Pre-Requisite: Introduction to Sewing Class
Do you want to learn to sew, but just aren't sure how to start? Discover the fun in creating your own projects! This is a fun Beginning Sewing Series where you will learn the information you need to feel confident sewing something uniquely yours. Whether you want to sew one of a kind garments, quilts, or create beautiful things for your home, this is the class for you. In this series you will complete three projects: Quilted Place Mat, Zippered Pouch, and Flanged Decorative Pillow. Be sure to read the Supply List for the materials needed at the first day of class.
There's no need to bring your own machine: for this sewing series we provide machines for all our students to use!
Some of the information that you can expect to learn in these classes are: Casings, Hems, Topstitching, Piecing, Decorative Stitching, Zippers, Buttonholes, Quilting, Binding & Lining. Come and discover the joy in sewing!
