We'll explore sewing with different decorative threads as well as plain threads. We will also work with different stitches to make our projects really special. You will be pleased with how easy it all is! Oh, and the feet! You will be amazed at how easy specialty feet are to use and how successful your project outcome. Come join the fun!
March's Class Description:
Use your serger to make decorative fabric for a cute
and quick pillow. Another good stash fabric project.
Decorative threads using the 3-thread
overlock stitch makes the pillow sing.
This project uses a 14-inch pillow form.
May's Class Description:
This is a technique class on how to use the Babylock belt loop binder attachment. You will learn the steps to set up your machine for a triple stitch cover stitch, how to set up and use
this specialty foot, and make a simple table mat pattern with the strips you create in class. The sample was created using the 1-1/2” Belt Loop Binder and a triple cover stitch. The 3/4” Belt Loop Binder and a double cover stitch can also be used. The belt loop binder takes all the work out of bias or straight cut strips by folding and pressing them for you before the needles secure them.
