Candice Jewett: Baby Lock Serger Foot Class -Federal Way

Join us for the fun and informative, “How to Use Your Baby Lock Serger Feet”. Included in the class are sheet protectors, instruction pages, fabric and any notions (pearls, deco threads, etc.) you may need to complete the techniques. At the end of the series you will have a great reference tool in the form of a sample notebook that you will use for years to come.

FEBRUARY is for Evolve, Evolution and Ovation feet. Prepare to be amazed at the ease with which you will create straps, decorative trims, purse handles and, of course belt loops. The belt loop binders (3/4” and 1-1/2”) take all of the work is gone out of bias and straight of grain strips while the clear foot provides visibility that increases precision when attaching ribbon/lace, stitching the traditional flat fell seam or guiding decorative stitching.

MARCH is for Evolve, Evolution, Ovation and Triumph feet and we learn several new techniques with the 1/2" and 1/4" Plain Hemmers as well as the 1/4", 5/8" and 1" Single Downturn Fellers. Our plain hemmer attachments were designed to guide the fabric into perfectly straight hems without any pre-project pressing. The single downturn fellers turn the fabric downward into perfectly straight single turn hems. You won’t have to press your hems before using this feller, making downturn hems easy.

APRIL is for Evolve, Evolution, Ovation and Triumph feet. The Curve Foot is short & has a flat sole, making it a good choice for stitching curves, sewing around cuffs, necklines & children’s wear using the cover stitches. Use the Cover/Chain Stitch foot for better visibility & easier control for stitching curves or turning tight corners & attaching tape/ribbons. The quilt guide is great for aligning exact rows of parallel cover, chain stitching or chainstitch quilting that are equally spaced. Join us as we play with the 'sports cars' of serger feet.

MAY is for Evolve, Evolution, Ovation and Triumph feet. The 28mm & 36mm double fold bias binders turn fabric strips into binding & attach it to your project edges...all in one step. You will love how easily this one-step attachment works. Our 28mm & 36mm single fold bias binders will turn the top edge of unfolded bias binding under while allowing the lower edge to remain straight, enclosing the edge of the fabric. Super easy!!!
