"Not Quite A Log Cabin" Pattern by Westalee Designs

The center of the block featured in this quilt is a log cabin with a second set of logs wrapping around the opposite side of the block. A red chimney stone center ties the blocks to the red background, the logs start in a very pale yellow and progressively darken to the outside of the block. The placement of the blocks forms an illusion which makes the sets of blocks appear to be floating. An easy to read placement chart makes piecing the quilt a breeze.
