February's Class Project & Description:
Loved by everyone these pillowcases are surprisingly easy to make and are a favorite for any gift giving holiday. Birthdays, weddings, adult or child...everyone wants them. In addition to the 'burrito' method for making the pillowcase you will be amazed at how easy serger 'crochet' is as you 'crochet' the trim directly on the pillowcase. Once you learn the technique you can add trim to anything you want or use the crochet by itself and make a crocheted scarf.

March's Class Project & Description:
This will be an easy way to finish your 'unfinished' serger projects. You are invited to bring them in, ask questions and receive individualized help in finishing those projects. Perfect time to 'Spring Clean' those partly done projects. It can be something you started in Serger Cafe or any other serger project. It may also require help with a specific foot or technique...all questions are welcome. Often requested let's see how many projects we can finish!

April's Class Project & Description:
The knit leisure pants (could also be a summer pj bottom) are so comfortable and, made with the right knit, extremely flattering. We will be learning seaming, some altering, finished elastic waistband and hemming. If you are making these for leisure they would be great on a cruise or just a warm summer evening. I am recommending that you work with one of the new bamboo knits that so soft, lightweight, anti-microbial, dry quickly and unbelievably comfortable.

May's Class Project & Description:
This cute upcycled sweatshirt is a perfect to practice and learn how to rework a ready made garment. You will also embellish with either the Deco Wave or Deco 3 thread wide, learn more or new techniques while working with ribbing and knit and adding a new button loop/closure. Mine will be a vest but it could also be a jacket. You also have the option of making the barrel shaped buttons which I will demonstrate.
