Whether you are a new PS owner or have had it for a while, you will benefit from one or all of these classes. This series will teach you how to navigate the program and learn the skills needed to get quilting with confidence. Each class will be live via Zoom, and the recording will be available for a week for you to watch at your leisure. Classes A & B are for all skill levels, and after taking these (or if you have had your PS for a while), you will be ready for the more intermediate classes C & D.
Take one class or all four, it is your choice!
Class A - Introduction: As Easy as 1, 2, 3:
For new owners (less than 1 year) and non-owners.
Introduction to Pro-Stitcher Lite and Pro-Stitcher Premium. Learn how the software works, where to find free 24/7 resources and support, as well as on board tools that make the software a breeze to use. You’ll also learn how to update your tablet, how to purchase and transfer designs, how to organize your files for easy access, and how to set up and use Pro-Stitcher Simulator. If time allows, you’ll get a sneak peek at Pro-Stitcher Designer!
Class B - Everything Edge 2 Edge:
For new owners. Completion of Class A is a requirement.
This is an introduction to the basic tools and how to use them together with continuous line designs to create beautiful e2e designs. You’ll learn tips on choosing designs, advancing the quilt, and repositioning after a thread break, power interruption, and at the start of a new day. We’ll also cover ways to make designs fit your block or quilt top and how to understand Areas. This class session will include lots of Q & A time! If time allows, you’ll get a taste of easy ways to create straight lines and load your quilt.
Class C - Diving into Custom Quilting:
For new and more seasoned owners, or those wanting a refresher.
You’ll learn to pair perfect borders and corners with a B2B design and stitch perfect borders and corners without turning your quilt. We’ll also cover tips and tools for dealing with irregular borders and using Pro-Stitcher tools to create a fill behind a design. There will be lots of Q & A time!
Class D - More Custom Quilting
For new and more seasoned owners, or those wanting a refresher.
Learn how to manage and stitch designs larger than your throat space, quilt on point designs, master triangle designs, and use Pro-Stitcher tools to create new e2e designs. We’ll also cover how to expand your design portfolio by creating your own designs and editing purchased designs, how to turn your handwriting into a design, and how to maintain and troubleshoot your Pro-Stitcher. Lots of Q & A time! If time allows, you’ll get a demo of how to use Pro-Stitcher to audition your quilt designs.
