This is a Foundational series of classes. Each class' projects cover techniques you will need to learn for the next classes in the series.

PETIT FOUR BAKET: January 15th Foundational Class 1 - Start simple with this first project sewing a sweet little Petit Four, a cute basket that is easy to make and perfect for holding small treasures or giving as a special gift.

QUICK ZIP CASE: January 22nd Foundational Class 2 - The Quick Zip Case will build your sewing skills. You will learn about sizes of zippers, practice various ways to put a zipper pull onto a zipper, and learn about creative ways to use zippers.

PROJECT BAG 2.0: February 19th Foundational Class 3 - This project will introduce you to working with vinyl, interfacing, zippers, and joining straight binding. The medium size project bag also includes a handle and a contrasting fabric bottom border.

PIECEKEEPER: March 18th  Foundational Class 4 - While constructing this project you will work with mesh, learn how to round corners, and cut-sew-and-join bias binding to make a versatile and fun bag with visibility of contents and a bit of added stretchiness with a lightweight front window.

EASY DOES IT: April 15th Foundational Class 5 - In this class you will learn to assemble components to make a zipper-side strip loop and then combine that with front and back panels to create a 3-D bag with handles. You will learn about directional fabric considerations and multiple ways to bias bind this type of bag, as well as how to add an optional mesh pocket topped with fold-over elastic.
