Hands-on Class: Simple Trapunto

Instructor: Quilting Expert Amanda Murphy

Learn to make a real visual impact by creating this beautiful Trapunto table topper. It is simpler than you may think! In class, Amanda will teach you how to combine ruler work, free-motion, and a simple Trapunto technique to create texture and dimension on an elegant 18-inch hexagonal table topper with floral motifs. You'll love the way this combination of techniques makes your quilting sing and you'll go home inspired to apply the technique to many projects!

Hands-on Class: Offset 9-Patch Pillow

Instructor: Embroidery Expert Christy Burcham

In this class, you will have fun creating this new version of a 9-patch and enjoy learning a variety of techniques from piecing to quilting and finishing. This offset 9-patch pillow top, will become the perfect canvas as you play with automated quilting (in-the-hoop) and decorative stitches. Then you will enjoy trying your hand at free-motion quilting with the aid of an integrated stitch regulator. The pillow has an easy envelope back that gives a professional finish with no fuss. The finished 12” pillow is the perfect travel size or a fun accent piece for a side chair.

Hands-on Class: Foot Frenzy

Instructor: Sewing Expert Shelly Fitzgerald

Couching, pintucks, piping, OH MY! This class will be one of your favorites! You will explore fun techniques that add interest and texture while learning how to best use machine feet. The skills you learn in this class will come in handy for years to come. Shelly is a sewing expert and will be sharing her tips for using your machine's decorative sewing capabilities to the fullest!

Hands-on Class: Serger Crossbody Bag

Instructor: Serger Expert Pam Mahshie

Always be prepared! With this little bag, you will be ready to be on the go. Using the serger, you will create a darling bag that has a clear pocket, decorative fabric created with stitches, a crossbody strap, and even a zipper. In this class you will experience how much fun it is to use a serger to expand your creativity. Plus, you'll love the crossbody bag that you will make in this class.
