The Bernina L 450 is a 2/3/4-thread overlock serger with Micro Thread Control (mtc), color-coded threading paths, and differential feed. It cuts, sews, and finishes seams in a single step at speeds up to 1,300 stitches per minute.

Micro Thread Control

The mtc (Micro Thread Control) system provides precise thread tension adjustment for each thread individually. Color-coded threading paths guide you through setup, and the ergonomic threading layout keeps the process straightforward. The differential feed adjusts from 0.6 to 2.0 for smooth handling of stretch fabrics and gathering.

Precision Cutting and Sewing

The integrated cutting knife trims fabric while the machine sews and finishes the edge in one pass. A large, well-lit sewing space provides visibility for guiding fabric. The L 450 handles fine fabrics to heavier materials smoothly at any speed, producing wave-free seams with consistent stitch quality.
