Bernina Overlock Foot #2A produces serged seams and neatened edges on your sewing machine, without needing a separate overlocker. It is especially well suited for stretch and elastic materials where flat, flexible seams are important.
Stitches form over the pin on the inner edge of the foot, which adds an extra amount of thread to each stitch. This prevents the fabric from bunching up and creates a flat, elastic seam that moves with the fabric. The foot also works well for hems, waistbands, and overlock seams on knit fabrics.
