Janome Continental M8 Professional Quilting and Sewing Machine
The Janome Continental M8 Professional is built for quilting and sewing with 450 built-in stitches, a 7" color LCD touchscreen, and 13.5 inches of workspace to the right of the needle. The A.S.R. (Accurate Stitch Regulator) maintains consistent stitch length during free-motion quilting, and the AcuFeed Flex Plus system feeds layered fabrics from the top and bottom.
450 Stitches and 7" Touchscreen
450 built-in stitches up to 9mm wide include 3 fonts, 12 sensor buttonholes, and 1 automatic buttonhole. The 7" color LCD touchscreen displays stitch selection, recommended settings, and sewing application guides. Memorized Quilt Seaming stores your seam length for repeating consistent blocks. The free AcuSpark2 app syncs stitch information and settings to your device.
Accurate Stitch Regulator and Ruler Work
The A.S.R. stitch regulation system comes with four feet: closed toe, open toe, clear view, and a ruler work foot. Adjustable sensor sensitivity lets you fine-tune regulation as your skills progress. A dedicated ruler work mode pairs with the ruler foot for precision straight lines and curves on quilt tops.
Built for Heavy Fabrics
A 7-piece feed dog, 1,300 SPM maximum speed, and auto tension system handle denim, canvas, and heavy layered quilts. The SFS-i intelligent feed system keeps the feed dogs down while you position fabric, then raises them automatically when sewing starts. Floating mode reduces presser foot pressure for delicate or high-pile fabrics like velvet.
