Bernette B68 Airlock: Overlock and Coverstitch Combined
The Bernette B68 Airlock combines overlock and coverstitch functions in one machine with air-powered looper threading. Choose from 31 stitch options across 2, 3, 4, and 5-thread configurations for garment construction, hems, and decorative finishes. The generous work area and high-speed motor handle everything from knit activewear to home décor projects.
Air Threader for Loopers
Press the button and air guides your looper threads into position automatically. Color-coded threading paths mark each thread route clearly, cutting setup time and removing the frustration of manual looper threading.
Freearm and Work Area
The integrated freearm makes hemming sleeves, cuffs, and pant legs straightforward. With 5 inches (130 mm) to the right of the needle, you have room to maneuver fabric during wide coverstitch projects. Five LEDs light the needle area for clear visibility.
Extension Table Included
The slide-on extension table adds fabric support for larger projects. The flat surface keeps material level during long seams or when finishing wide panels for curtains, bedding, or tablecloths.
Micro Thread Control
The mtc dial adjusts looper thread coverage for precise edge finishes. Fine-tune the amount of thread wrapping around fabric edges without changing tension settings, giving you control over stitch appearance on different weights and textures.
Speed and Convenience
Sew up to 1300 stitches per minute for efficient project completion. The knee lifter raises and lowers the presser foot hands-free, and the large cut-offs bin collects trimmed fabric edges to keep your workspace clean.
