Hands-on Class: Feathered Runner

Instructor: Quilting Expert Amanda Murphy

Learn to quilt feathers on a sit-down machine with Quilting Expert Amanda Murphy!  We’ll start by using rulers to master the traditional “bump-back” feather.  Then we’ll move onto free-motion.  Even if you are a beginner, you can learn to master this technique!  A unique panel that is only available for Amanda’s in-person workshops will be used.  Simply follow the lines to quilt your feathers.

Instructor: Serger Expert Pam Mahshie

Add decorative flair to your home decor. Learn to create decorative stitches using the thread Blending technique, stitch panels together giving you stitches on both sides. That‘s why it’s called This way and That… Make fusible trim, make piping and use a Flatlock stitch. Pam will help you explore the many ways serging can bring your sewing experience to a whole new level!

Hands-on Class: Creative Notebook Cover

Instructor: Sewing Expert Reva Flood

Take Note of Your Creativity! In this hands-on class, you will get to try out several different ways to embellish fabric with decorative stitches, freemotion and even custom quilting while making a custom project notebook cover. Experience techniques like creating custom fabric with the use of decorative stitches, couching, custom quilting, freemotion and more! You will love your results so much that you will keep your notebook by your side in planning all of your upcoming projects.
