The Baby Lock Presto 2 is a computerized sewing and quilting machine built to keep projects moving. With 100 built-in stitches, an LCD touchscreen, sewing speeds up to 850 stitches per minute, and an 8.3-inch quilting workspace, it handles everyday garments, home decor, and lap-to-throw quilts. Quick-Set bobbin, an advanced needle threader, and an automatic thread cutter take the fuss out of setup so you spend more time sewing.

Room to quilt

The Presto 2 gives you 8.3 inches of throat space to the right of the needle, enough room to roll and guide a lap or throw quilt under the arm. Retractable feed dogs drop for free-motion quilting and stippling, and the free arm makes quick work of cuffs, hems, and sleeves.

Touchscreen stitch selection

Choose from 100 built-in stitches, including 69 utility and 31 decorative stitches, plus 4 lettering fonts and 7 one-step buttonholes. The LCD touchscreen shows your selection and lets you set stitch width up to 7 mm and length up to 5 mm without guesswork.

Quick-Set drop-in bobbin

The Quick-Set top-loading bobbin drops in from above so you can start sewing without pulling up the bobbin thread. The clear cover keeps your Class 15 bobbin in view, so you know when thread is running low before it interrupts a seam.

Advanced needle threader

The advanced needle threader pulls thread through the eye of the needle with a simple lever, saving your eyes and getting you stitching faster. Pair it with the automatic thread cutter to trim top and bobbin threads at the touch of a button.

One-touch controls

Sew with or without the foot control using the start/stop button, and set your pace with the variable speed slider up to 850 stitches per minute. Automatic needle up/down stops the needle exactly where you want it for pivoting corners and appliqué.
