Even Topstitching on Uneven Fabric Layers
The Baby Lock Bi-Level Foot (Right) has a stepped sole that compensates for height differences when one side of the foot rides on a raised seam, hem fold, zipper tape, or quilt binding edge. The bi-level design keeps the foot stable and the stitch line straight instead of tilting toward the thinner side.
Uses
- Topstitching along quilt binding where the edge creates a height change
- Hemming next to raised seam allowances
- Zipper topstitching where tape thickness differs from fabric
- Any stitching along a raised right-side edge
For left-side applications, see the Baby Lock Bi-Level Foot (Left).
