Handi Quilter Amara 24-inch Longarm Quilting Machine
The Handi Quilter Amara 24 (formerly the Forte) gives you 24 inches of throat space, a 7" color touchscreen, and QuiltMaster stitch regulation in a machine designed for free-motion longarm quilting. The Amara now ships with the HQ Gallery 3 Frame (available in 10, 12, and 15-foot sizes), giving you everything you need to start quilting right out of the box.
QuiltMaster Stitch Regulation
The servo-controlled QuiltMaster stitch regulation system keeps your stitches consistent from 4 to 24 stitches per inch, regardless of how fast or slow you move the machine. Two regulation modes are available: Precision mode locks stitch length at any speed, while Cruise mode maintains a constant motor speed for even rhythm. Manual mode offers three customizable preset speeds for unregulated quilting. Maximum stitching speed reaches 2,500 stitches per minute.
7" Color Touchscreen
The touchscreen controls stitch regulation settings, lighting, needle position, and the on-screen hand wheel. A bobbin-use estimator helps you plan thread changes, and a built-in stitch counter tracks your progress. If you add the optional Pro-Stitcher computerized quilting system, all cabling is pre-installed. The Pro-Stitcher tablet replaces the touchscreen as your primary display.
Workspace and Handling
The brightly lit throat space uses the QuiltMaster LED Lighting Package with menu-controlled lights at the throat, needlebar, and bobbin area. The front handlebars are independently adjustable with integrated micro handles for precise free-motion control. Programmable handlebar buttons let you assign frequently used functions for quick access. Easy-Set Tension keeps thread tension simple, and a thread-break sensor alerts you if a thread snaps mid-quilt.
