Janome Continental M6: Professional Quilting Performance
The Janome Continental M6 provides a 13.7" work space to the right of the needle and 400 built-in stitches for quilting and garment construction. The 17.81" all-metal flatbed creates a smooth surface for maneuvering large quilts, while the 7" color LCD touchscreen displays stitch recommendations and settings.
400 Stitches with Touchscreen Control
Navigate through 400 built-in stitches on the 7" LCD touchscreen, which recommends presser feet and settings for each stitch. The selection includes 5 alphabets, 12 sensor buttonholes plus 1 automatic, and decorative stitches up to 9mm wide and 5mm long. The Quilt Block Advisor provides guidance for piecing and quilting techniques.
Quilting Features
The M6 includes dedicated quilting tools: rulerwork mode, variable zigzag for free motion quilting, stitch tapering function, and automatic presser foot lift. The slim profile provides a broader view of your sewing field. Upgrade with the optional AcuFeed Flex Plus system and Professional HP needle plate with HP and HP2 feet for layered fabric work.
Speed and Precision
Sew at up to 1,300 stitches per minute with precise control from the speed control slider. The auto tension system adjusts for different fabrics and threads, while the 7-piece feed dog and automatic one-touch needle plate conversion adapt to various sewing techniques. The optical bobbin monitoring system alerts you when thread runs low.
Technology and Engineering
The Continental M6 includes Stitch Composer software for creating custom stitches, a USB port for data transfer, and auto-power off timer for energy efficiency. The Superior Needle Threader 2 threads the needle quickly, and the automatic thread cutter and locking stitch button secure thread ends.
