Janome CoverPro 3000 Professional Coverstitch Machine
The Janome CoverPro 3000 Professional produces six cover stitch variations plus a single chain stitch, with built-in top cover stitch capability. A Fine Mode switch, triple-position LED lighting, and a convertible free arm support serious garment construction on fabrics from lightweight knits to denim.
Six Cover Stitch Options Plus Chain Stitch
Select from triple top cover stitch, 2-needle wide top cover stitch, 2-needle narrow top cover stitch, triple cover stitch, double cover stitch (6mm and 3mm), and single chain stitch. That range covers everything from decorative topstitching to structural seam finishing.
Built-in Top Cover Stitch
The built-in top cover stitch guide with spreader produces the looper thread pattern on the top side of the fabric. This creates a professional, store-bought finish on hems, necklines, and decorative bands without needing a separate attachment.
Triple-Position LED Lighting
Bright LED lights illuminate the workspace from 3 locations. A retractable sewing light positioned above the needle area on the top left provides focused visibility right where the stitch forms. Pull it out when you need it, retract it when you do not.
Convertible Free Arm
The flat work area converts to a free arm for hemming sleeves, necklines, trouser legs, leggings, and other tubular projects. This makes it simple to stitch a clean coverstitch hem on garment pieces that would otherwise be difficult to position flat.
Fine Mode for Lightweight Fabrics
The Fine Mode switch adjusts the machine's feed and tension settings for lightweight knit fabrics like jersey, lycra, and organza. This prevents stretching, puckering, or skipped stitches on delicate materials that standard settings can distort.
Needle Threader and Setup
The built-in needle threader speeds up the process of threading multiple needles. On a coverstitch machine that may use two or three needles at once, quick threading reduces setup time between stitch changes and needle swaps.
Wide Fabric Compatibility
The CoverPro 3000 handles lightweight knits, jersey, lycra, organza, crepes, and rayon at the light end, and cotton, linen, denim, fleece, and woolens at the heavy end. One machine covers the full range of garment fabrics without swapping settings beyond the Fine Mode toggle.
Professional Finish on Every Project
Cover stitching produces the same hem and seam finish found on ready-to-wear garments. T-shirt hems, activewear seams, knit neckline bindings, and decorative topstitching all benefit from the stretch and durability of a proper coverstitch.
