CreateRoom Shipping

CreateRoom DreamBox cabinets and the DreamStation Deluxe are built to order at the CreateRoom factory in southern Utah, then shipped directly to you by freight. Because each piece is made after you order, delivery takes longer than a standard package. Here is exactly what to expect, from checkout to setup.

Estimates include factory build time plus 7 to 14 days of freight transit, and can shift with the production queue. The current estimate is shown on each product page.

How Delivery Works

1. Your order enters the production queue. Each piece is hand-built in the USA at CreateRoom's Utah facility. Build time runs about 3 to 5 weeks for the DreamBox and DreamBox XL, and 2 to 4 weeks for the DreamStation Deluxe.
2. Your order ships by freight. You receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow the shipment to a delivery hub near you. Transit adds roughly 7 to 14 days.
3. The local hub calls you. Once your order arrives at the hub, the freight company calls to schedule a delivery appointment, usually within 2 to 3 business days. Answer calls from unrecognized numbers and watch your email so scheduling is not delayed. After the hub's courtesy window passes, storage fees can apply.
4. Curbside delivery. The truck delivers your crate to the curb or driveway. Have a helper ready to bring boxes inside.

Ready to Assemble or Pre-Assembled?

The DreamBox and DreamBox XL are offered two ways. Both ship by freight with curbside delivery; the difference is how much building you do at home.

Inside the Pre-Assembled Crate

Pre-assembly means the frame of your DreamBox is already built. The crate holds six finished sections that connect together in your room: a left box, a right box, two swing doors, and a center box split into a top and bottom half. You will want at least two people to unbox, carry the pieces inside, connect the hinges, and load your dividers, tote tracks, and totes where you want them.

On Delivery Day

Curbside delivery	Freight delivery is curbside only. The driver places the crate at the curb or end of your driveway and does not bring it inside. Have a friend or two available to help move boxes indoors.
Be home for your window	Someone must be present to sign for the shipment. A missed appointment usually means a redelivery charge from the carrier, so contact us ahead of time if your schedule changes.
Inspect before signing	Look over the crate with the driver. If you see damage, note it on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us right away. Keep all packaging until you have confirmed every piece and accessory arrived in good condition.
Truck access	Freight arrives on a full-size semi truck. If a large truck cannot reach your address (a narrow lane, steep drive, or gated community), let us know before your order ships so alternatives can be arranged.
Address type	Tell us before shipping if your address is a business, school, church, or construction site. Extra coordination or fees may be required. Address changes after shipment incur carrier rerouting fees.

Want It Brought Inside?

Delivery upgrades are available for CreateRoom furniture. In-garage delivery places the crate in your garage instead of at the curb (a hard-surface driveway is required), and room-of-choice delivery brings the pieces into the room where your DreamBox will live and removes the outer packaging. Shipping Area

CreateRoom furniture ships within the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada require a custom freight quote, so please contact us for pricing before ordering. Delivery to some military bases and APO/FPO addresses is not available.
