Shipping & Delivery Policy
Here's how and when your order ships, what it costs, and what to expect for freight and furniture deliveries. All shipping times are business days and exclude weekends and holidays.

Standard shipping is a $5 flat rate, and orders $75 and over ship free within the contiguous 48 states. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories ship at the flat weight-based rates above and do not qualify for free shipping. Canada orders ship at carrier rates calculated at checkout. Rates here are for standard parcel orders. Freight and furniture items have separate delivery pricing (see below).
Availability
We ship most items from our warehouse in Seattle, Washington within 2–4 business days of your order. Some products ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor and typically require an additional 2–5 business days for processing. In some cases we may need to order an item from our vendors, which can add a shipping delay of up to two weeks or more. Custom-made items ship upon completion, with estimated timeframes listed on their product pages.
Carriers
We ship most orders via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Orders that qualify for free shipping generally ship via UPS ground. We do not take requests for specific carriers on free shipping orders. Please provide a valid street address for delivery.
Shipping days are business days only. Carriers do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays, and the day an item ships is not counted in air shipping estimates. For example, an item shipped 2nd Day Air on Monday should arrive Wednesday.
Tracking Information
Most of our shipping vendors provide tracking numbers, which we send as soon as they are available. If a vendor does not provide tracking, we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery date.
In-Store Pickup
If you're in the Puget Sound area, you can choose "Free In-Store Pickup" at checkout. Items are available for pickup only if they are currently in stock at your selected location. If an item is not in stock at your preferred store, that location will not appear as a pickup option for that product.
Once your order is placed, your selected store will contact you when it's ready, usually within 2–5 business days.
Need something that's not in stock at your preferred store? Call the store to place your order and have it transferred, or if your order is over $75, we're happy to ship it directly to your home at no charge.
International Orders
At this time we ship only to the USA and Canada. Customs, duty, brokerage fees, and other charges imposed by government agencies at delivery are not included in our shipping fees and are the customer's responsibility. International orders do not qualify for free shipping.
Ship-To Addresses
UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. If shipping to a P.O. box, please select USPS shipping. Otherwise a physical street address is required.
Freight Shipping
Large items such as cabinets, assembled industrial machine tables, and large embroidery machines ship via freight.
- Someone must be present to sign for delivery. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment.
- Delivery is curbside only (driveway or front entrance). Moving the item inside is the customer's responsibility.
- Inspect before signing. If the package appears damaged, refuse the delivery.
- Keep the original packaging until you confirm all accessories are present and in good condition.
- If you need clarification about this delivery agreement, contact us before signing.
Furniture Delivery
Please note: cabinets do not ship directly from Quality Sewing. They ship from the manufacturer, and shipping times may vary based on availability.
Arrow Cabinets
- Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) cabinets: free standard shipping, delivered to your door in multiple boxes.
Kangaroo Cabinets
- Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) cabinets: free standard shipping, delivered to your door in multiple boxes — Bandicoot, Kiwi Storage Caddie, Tasmanian II, Joey Storage Cabinet.
- Optional free delivery with RTA, or Premium Delivery for $399: Kangaroo & Joey II, Sydney Sewing Cabinet with Electric Lift, Wallaby Cabinet, Bandicoot II, Sydney Lite XL, Outback XL Hydraulic Lift, MOD Hydraulic Lift XL, Kangaroo II, Dingo, Aussie, Sydney Lite with Electric Lift, Sydney with Hydraulic XL Lift.
Premium Delivery ($399)
A delivery team brings your cabinet(s) and accessories into your room of choice, upstairs or downstairs, then unpacks the cabinet and removes the packaging. Service covers one flight of stairs totaling up to 20 steps with one manageable landing. Light assembly, such as inserting drawers, is not included. The Sydney XL and Electric can only be delivered to a first-floor area, no stairs.
Kangaroo Sydney Shipping Restrictions
- All Sydney cabinets except the Sydney Lite cannot be taken up or down a flight of stairs. If you select Premium Delivery for a Sydney cabinet, it can only be delivered to the ground floor.
- The Sydney Lite (which has no door) can be carried up or down stairs, as removing the door brings the total weight below FedEx's 300 lb threshold.
- You can select Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) Sydney cabinets, delivered to your door in multiple boxes.
Koala Studios
- All Koala cabinets arrive fully assembled, except for caster installation.
- Outside Delivery for $199, or free in-store pickup.
Horn of America
- All Horn of America cabinets ship fully assembled via freight.
- Outside Curbside Delivery – $299: palletized delivery to the end of the driveway.
Note on all furniture: the delivery rates above apply only to the contiguous United States. Shipping prices vary significantly for Alaska and Hawaii — please contact us for an accurate quote before ordering.
