Additionally, a cleverly hidden quilt leaf, as well as a removable supplementary cover for the large left drawer, allows you to maximize every inch of the Kangaroo’s surface.

Kangaroo Features

Quilt Leaf: A full-width quilt leaf is stored on the back of the cabinet. When opened, it expands your work surface and prevents heavy quilts or yardage from pulling and dragging to the floor.

Hydraulic Lift: The three-position hydraulic lift (free-arm, flatbed, and storage) is built with a smooth gas-strut mechanism rated for 45 lbs. It allows you to raise or lower your machine with minimal effort.

Flexible Workspace: - The large left drawer includes a removable cover to expand your cutting or pressing area. - A removable front panel lets you use a knee lifter comfortably. - When the machine is lowered into storage, a removable top panel creates a smooth cutting or crafting surface.

Compact, Open Design: This cabinet does not use doors or swinging leaves, so it fits neatly within a 56" area. Your sewing machine remains accessible and visible in all three lift positions.

Mobility & Build: Heavy-duty locking casters provide stability while sewing and easy movement when needed.

Finishes Available: Teak or Ash White.
Optional: Custom acrylic insert (sold separately) for a completely flush sewing surface.

SEWING MACHINES THAT DO NOT FIT KANGAROO II

We are aware of the following sewing machines that are too large to fit into the Kangaroo II sewing cabinet:

  • Baby Lock: Destiny

  • Brother: Dream VX8500D

  • Janome: Horizon Memory Craft 15000

Please note: The Janome Horizon Memory Craft 15000 fits the platform of the cabinet in flat bed position (a custom insert is available), but you will have to move the sewing machine from right to left to lower into the storage position because of the extension of the front support leg of the machine. Also, the knee lifter lever cannot be used with a sewing cabinet due to the length of the lever and how the machine sits on the platform in flat bed position.
