Evenly Gathered Yo-Yos Without Measuring
Hand-gathered yo-yos come out lopsided when the running stitches are unevenly spaced. This template does the spacing for you: clamp the fabric between the two halves, trim, stitch through the guided holes, and pull the thread. The gathers fall evenly every time, and the template folds the seam allowance for a cleanly rounded edge.
The Extra Small maker produces yo-yos roughly 3/4in across, sized for flower centers, berries, and scattered accents on quilts, garments, bags, and cards.
