Fusible Backing That Stops Fabric Stretching
Heat N Stay is a tearaway stabilizer with a light fusible coating, made for embroidery on fabrics that distort when hooped: lightweight cotton, linen, shirt-weight denim and similar wovens. Pressing it to the back of the garment before hooping keeps the fabric flat and square while the design stitches out.
Because the stabilizer bonds across the entire embroidery area, it holds better than a spray adhesive, which only spot-tacks and lets fabric shift as the needle works. There is no overspray to leave residue on the needle, the machine or the garment either. Once the design is finished, the excess tears away cleanly from the edges.
Which width to choose
