Felt That Survives the Hoop and the Iron

Craft-store felt shrinks under a hot iron and melts under a dense fill stitch, which is how an in-the-hoop ornament ends up puckered or scorched. This one is engineered for machine embroidery: non-shrink and non-melt, so it comes out of the hoop the same size it went in. The thickness runs a consistent 1.0mm to 1.3mm across the sheet, so the needle penetrates evenly and stitched designs stay crisp.

Use it for applique, ornaments, in-the-hoop projects, tags, and patches. Each pack holds two 8in x 12in sheets of 100% polyester felt, in red, green, or black. It pairs with the rest of the OESD embroidery supplies and our embroidery accessories.
