Winter Magic packs more technique into 12in by 40in than most runners attempt. Jenice Belling builds the snowmen and candy canes with fusible raw-edge applique, then layers trapunto and dimensional pieces on top so the finished runner has real depth. Each technique appears once or twice rather than across the whole piece, which is what makes it work as a teaching project: you finish with a usable runner and five methods you can take to the next one.

You will practice fusible raw-edge applique, trapunto accents, dimensional applique for the holly leaves and dove wings, yo-yo berries, and curved end finishing.
