A project thread kit contains the exact colors needed for a specific embroidery design. OESD's thread kits are matched to a specific embroidery design or seasonal design collections, so every color in the design is included.

The Isacord Top 50 Kit is a strong starting point. It includes the 50 most commonly used embroidery colors in one box. Yes. Thread sets are priced lower per spool than buying the same colors individually. The savings increase with larger sets. A 100-spool set typically costs significantly less than 100 individual spools from the same brand. Sets also save time by giving you a curated color range without picking each spool separately.

Match the thread weight to how you plan to use it:

• 40wt polyester (most sets): Standard weight for machine embroidery. Floriani, Madeira, Isacord, and OESD kits are primarily 40wt.
