Level Stitching Over Thick Seams
The Baby Lock Bridging Plate set includes two shims (2.5mm and 5mm) that you place under the presser foot when starting a seam or crossing a thick intersection. The plate holds the foot level so the feed dogs grip properly and stitches stay even. Once past the thick area, remove the plate and continue sewing normally.
