Baby Lock Luna Embroidery and Sewing Machine
The Luna pairs a full sewing machine with an 8" x 14" embroidery field. It carries 791 built-in stitches and 914 built-in designs, and adds two features aimed squarely at accuracy: Curve Sewing and a laser guideline marker. Browse the full Baby Lock machine lineup for comparison.

Innovative Curve Sewing
Touch the Curve Sewing key and the Luna adjusts presser foot pressure to suit the fabric and the tightness of the curve. Curved seams feed evenly instead of pushing or puckering at the tightest part of the arc.

Laser Guideline Marker
A projected guideline handles half-square triangles, varied seam allowances and straight-line quilting without marking the fabric first. The marker includes a scale and a cord guide.

791 Built-In Stitches
The Luna carries 179 utility stitches and 612 decorative stitches, including 30 new decorative patterns and Stitch Tapering. There are 14 one-touch buttonholes and 5 sewing fonts.

8" x 14" Embroidery Field
The 8" x 14" (200mm x 360mm) hoop covers larger designs in one hooping. 2-Point Positioning and the Needle Beam preview and place the design before the first stitch.

Compact Digital Dual Feed Foot
The included dual feed foot drives the top layer with the feed dogs underneath, which keeps plaids, stripes and quilt layers from shifting. Optional soles cover open toe, stitch in the ditch, quarter-inch and couching work.

10" Workspace and Knee Lift
Ten inches to the right of the needle gives a quilt somewhere to go. Four LED lights cover the needle area, and the hands-free knee lift raises the presser foot while both hands stay on the work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Baby Lock Luna a sewing machine or an embroidery machine?
Both. The Luna is a combination sewing and embroidery machine with 791 built-in stitches and 914 built-in embroidery designs. The embroidery unit attaches when you need it and comes off when you are sewing or quilting.
What is Curve Sewing and why does it matter?
Touching the Curve Sewing key tells the Luna to adjust presser foot pressure automatically to suit the fabric and how tight the curve is. Curved seams feed evenly instead of pushing or puckering at the tightest part of the arc, which is where most curved piecing goes wrong.
How does the laser guideline marker help?
It projects a line onto the fabric so you can piece half-square triangles, hold a range of seam allowances and quilt straight lines without marking anything in advance. The marker includes a scale and a cord guide.
How many stitches does the Luna have?
There are 791 built-in stitches: 179 utility and 612 decorative, including 30 new decorative patterns plus Stitch Tapering. It also has 14 one-touch buttonholes and 5 sewing fonts, with a maximum stitch width of 7mm and length of 5mm.
What feet and hoops are included?
The Luna ships with 10 snap-on presser feet, the Compact Digital Dual Feed Foot, the embroidery foot "UH+" with LED pointer, the couching foot Y with guide and a presser foot adaptor. Both an 8" x 14" and a 5" x 7" embroidery frame set are in the box.
How much space is there for quilting?
There is 10" to the right of the needle with four LED lights over the work area, and a hands-free knee lift so both hands stay on the quilt. Browse the full Baby Lock machine lineup to compare.
