Wider Pintucks for Heirloom and Decorative Sewing
The Baby Lock 3-Groove Pintuck Foot has three grooves on the sole for creating wider, more prominent pintucks than the 5-groove version. Use a twin needle to form the tucks, with or without cord. The wider groove spacing makes these tucks more visible and decorative, suitable for garment yokes, bodice panels, and heirloom projects.
Techniques
- Corded pintucks with a heavier cord for raised, prominent tucks
- Hollow tucks for subtle texture without cord
- Decorative rows on bodice panels, yokes, and cuffs
