Smart Drive Technology (SDT) delivers smoother, quieter operation with improved stitch quality. The Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR) maintains consistent stitch length during free-motion quilting. Dual Feed technology handles multiple fabric layers, and Adaptive Thread Tension adjusts automatically for each stitch. Total Stitch Control lets you adjust stitch length, width, and needle position.
Embroidery Capabilities
The included embroidery unit supports Pinpoint Placement for precise design positioning on fabric. Automatic thread cutting between color changes keeps the workflow moving. The extended free arm provides 10" of space to the right of the needle for large quilts and garment projects.
