Bernina Applique Foot #23
The Bernina Applique Foot #23 is built for applique work using narrow satin stitches up to 2 mm wide. Its sole is shaped to feed fabric smoothly over dense stitch formations, preventing the bunching and piling that can happen when stitching over thick, repeated satin-stitch rows.
Couching and Fine Detail Work
A cutout on the front of the foot holds a narrow cord in position for couching. The cord is guided directly under the needle, where decorative stitches secure it to the fabric surface. This foot also works for fine outline stitching, monogramming, and any technique where you need clean satin stitches on the edge of an applique piece.
