Bernette B77: 500 Stitches for Sewing and Quilting
The Bernette B77 is a computerized sewing and quilting machine with 500 built-in stitches, a 5-inch color touchscreen, and integrated Dual Feed for handling difficult fabrics. With 230mm of workspace to the right of the needle, a programmable foot control, and eight included presser foot soles, it covers garment sewing, quilting, and decorative stitching in one machine.
Touchscreen and Multi-Function Knobs
The 5-inch color touchscreen sits at the center of the machine for stitch selection, thread tension adjustment, and access to the built-in sewing consultant. Two multi-function knobs let you change stitch length and width on the fly, even mid-seam.
Integrated Dual Feed
The built-in Dual Feed moves fabric from above and below at the same time. It prevents layer shifting on quilts and stops puckering on slippery fabrics like chiffon or satin. When you don't need it, the Dual Feed disengages and stays out of the way.
Spacious, Well-Lit Workspace
Four bright LEDs illuminate the sewing area across 230mm of space to the right of the needle. The included slide-on extension table adds even more room for managing quilt layers and large fabric pieces.
500 Stitches and 17 Buttonholes
The stitch library includes 133 decorative stitches, 35 quilting stitches, utility stitches, and 17 buttonhole styles. Save your custom stitch settings to personal memory and retrieve them for future projects.
Automatic Thread Cutter and Tie-Off
Press the tie-off button at the end of a seam instead of stitching in reverse. The automatic thread cutter trims both threads in one step. Program both functions to the back-kick foot control so a single heel tap finishes and cuts the seam.
Threading and Presser Foot System
The semi-automatic needle threader lowers the presser foot to the correct position and holds the thread in place for you. A knee lever raises and lowers the presser foot so both hands stay on the fabric. The machine recommends the best foot for each stitch from the 8 included presser foot soles.
