Bernina Button Sew-On Foot #18
The Bernina Button Sew-On Foot #18 turns button attachment into a machine operation. It holds the button in position on the fabric, and a zigzag stitch secures it through the holes. This is faster and more consistent than hand sewing, especially when you have multiple buttons to attach.
Beyond Buttons
This foot also works for attaching hooks, eyes, snap fasteners, and similar flat embellishments. Any flat finding with holes or openings can be stitched down using the same zigzag technique. The foot keeps the item stable while the machine does the work.
