Bernina Double Cord Foot #59C
The Bernina Double Cord Foot #59C couches two parallel cords in a single pass. Two grooves on the underside of the foot hold cords with a diameter of 4 to 6 mm, keeping them evenly spaced as you sew them down with a decorative or zigzag stitch.
Thinner Cords, Same Dual-Groove Design
This foot is the smaller sibling of Double Cord Foot #60C. Use #59C for cords in the 4-6 mm range and #60C for thicker 7-8 mm cords. The grooves keep both cords running parallel and prevent them from shifting during stitching. The foot also works well for sewing piping into seams.
