The Bernina Spanish Hemstitch Attachment #47 opens up a range of decorative techniques. Join fabric edges together with or without a cord, sew edging to skirts, and stitch fringe to curtains or other home furnishings.
This attachment works with Open Embroidery Foot #20 for 5.5mm cords and #20C for 9mm cords. It is also useful for couching, gathering fabric edges, and creating pintuck effects on both garments and quilts.
