Bernina Tailor Tack Foot #7
The Bernina Tailor Tack Foot #7 has a raised center bar that creates looped stitches on the fabric surface. These loops can serve as tailor tack markings for seam lines, or they can be left as decorative elements for fringe, imitation hemstitch (fagoting), and three-dimensional surface effects.
Marking and Embellishing
For marking purposes, sew along your seam line, then pull the fabric layers apart. The loops separate into thread tufts that mark both layers simultaneously. For decorative work, leave the loops intact to create fringe effects, or combine them with other stitches for textured embellishment.
