Brother BQ3100: Built for Quilters and Sewists
The Brother BQ3100 combines 759 stitches, an 11.25" workspace, and the Compact MuVit Digital Dual Feed system for quilting and garment sewing. The 7" LCD touchscreen provides intuitive control, and the included Quilters Bundle Deluxe adds over $500 in accessories.
759 Built-In Stitches
Choose from 729 built-in utility and decorative stitches plus 30 additional stitches on the included CD. The selection includes 14 one-step auto-size buttonholes and 5 sewing fonts. The My Custom Stitch feature lets you create, save, and stitch your own designs.
Compact MuVit Digital Dual Feed
The Compact MuVit Digital Dual Feed feeds fabric from both top and bottom, keeping layers aligned when quilting or sewing tricky fabrics like velvet and plaid. The compact design provides better visibility around the needle. Over 100 stitch designs are specifically optimized for use with the Dual Feed system, and it stitches both forward and backward.
11.25" Workspace
The 11.25" work area to the right of the needle gives you room for large quilts and bulky projects. Enhanced LED lighting provides a 10" glow around the needle for clear visibility. The Sew Straight Laser Vision Guide projects a line on your fabric for precise alignment of rows and decorative stitches.
Quilting Features
The Pivot Function lifts the presser foot while the needle stays down for fast cornering without stopping. The Automatic Height Adjuster (AHA) maintains consistent presser foot pressure across uneven surfaces and varying fabric thicknesses. Sideways and diagonal sewing capability handles straight and zigzag stitches in multiple directions for decorative work.
