The SA204 sole plate snaps onto the Brother MuVit Dual Feed Attachment and rides smoothly over an existing seam, so your stitching stays where you want it. The dual feed movement pulls the top and bottom layers through at the same rate, which keeps quilt tops, binding and garment seams from shifting as you sew.

It is built for the jobs where a standard foot drifts: stitching in the ditch across a pieced quilt top, securing binding along a finished edge, and topstitching over bulky seam allowances. Because the feed is even on both layers, you get a straighter line with less pinning and less easing.

Fit and requirements

This sole is made for Brother XV and V-Series machines and requires the MuVit Dual Feed Attachment (SA196), which is sold separately and is included with the XV8500D and VM6200D.
