The Reason Handmade Bags Stand Up on Their Own
Batting collapses and heavy interfacing goes board-stiff. Soft and Stable sits between the two: a polyester foam core laminated with fabric on both faces, so a tote holds its shape when empty but still feels soft in the hand. It feeds through a domestic machine without a walking foot on most seams, and does not need close quilting to keep from shifting.
The sheet is 36in x 58in and 0.175in thick, enough for a large bag or several small ones. It is washer and dryer safe and takes a medium iron, so finished bags keep their structure through normal laundering. Compare it with our other stabilizers and quilting accessories.
