Elna eXtend Easycover Cover Hem and Chain Stitch Machine
The Elna eXtend easycover is a mechanical coverstitch machine with 4 stitch programs: triple cover stitch (3 needles, 4 threads), wide (6 mm) and narrow (3 mm) cover stitch (2 needles, 3 threads), and chain stitch (1 needle, 2 threads, 3 needle positions). Maximum sewing speed is 1,000 stitches per minute.
Free Arm and Sewing Space
The free arm converts to a flat bed and sews tubular items such as sleeves or cuffs. There are 5.6 inches of space to the right of the needle (143 mm), and the workspace height is 3.9 inches. A built-in thread cutter is included.
Stitch Length and Differential Feed
Stitch length adjusts from 1 to 4 mm and differential feed from 0.5 to 2.25. The machine also has a 6-piece feed dog, presser foot pressure adjustment, and a clip-on presser foot conversion system.
Threading and Tension
A color-coded thread guide and a quick reference chart are in the looper area, and the looper disengages for easy threading. Tension Level Control sets thread tension automatically for fine and standard fabrics.
