Bernina Foot #97 is the ideal patchwork presser foot for achieving consistent, straight seams on quilts and precision projects. It’s specifically designed for BERNINA machines with a 9mm stitch width, offering a wider contact surface for improved fabric control when piecing.
- Markings on the sole provide visual seam guides at 3mm (⅛”), 6mm (¼”), and 7.5mm (³⁄₁₀”)
- Precision foot alignment ensures smooth fabric feeding and consistent stitch placement
- Three notches on the side assist with accurate fabric guidance
- Optional seam guide adds extra control, sold separately
Special notes for compatibility
Although not integrated in the firmware of some BERNINA machines, this foot can still be used by selecting presser foot #37, #57, #37D, or #57D as a workaround. When included with your machine, the seam guide is not automatically bundled and must be purchased separately.
The Straight Stitch Plate is recommended for best results.
