Fine 2mm Rolled Hems for Delicate Work

The Pfaff 2mm Rolled Hem Foot produces a tiny, even rolled hem on lightweight and sheer fabrics. The scroll guide at the front curls the raw edge under twice into a 2mm finished hem that is stitched as it passes through the foot. This is the foot to use on silk scarves, chiffon blouses, handkerchiefs, and other delicate items where a narrow, clean edge is needed.

Tips

• Pre-fold a small section at the starting edge to help feed into the scroll
• Use a fine needle (size 60 or 70) and lightweight thread
• Sew at a steady, moderate speed for even rolling
• Works best on silk, chiffon, organza, and fine cotton
