Narrow Rolled Hems for Lightweight Fabrics

The Pfaff 4mm Rolled Hem Foot creates a clean, narrow rolled hem in a single pass. The scroll-shaped guide at the front of the foot curls the raw fabric edge under twice, forming a finished 4mm hem that is stitched as it feeds through. This foot works best on lightweight and medium-weight fabrics like cotton, silk, chiffon, and batiste.

Tips

• Start with a folded edge to feed the fabric into the scroll guide
• Use a straight stitch with a medium stitch length
• Guide gently without pulling; let the foot do the rolling
• Best results on light to medium fabrics; heavy fabrics may not roll smoothly
