Turn leftover fabric into custom binding

The GO! Scrappy Binding-2½" Die makes it simple to cut your own Jelly Roll-style binding from scraps or your favorite fabrics. Designed for use with AccuQuilt cutters, this die helps you quickly cut binding strips in five different lengths: 8¼", 10¼", 12¼", and 14¼". Each shape includes a ¼" seam allowance for easy piecing.

  • Cut up to 6 layers of ½" wider-than-finished fabric at a time
  • Make your own scrappy binding—no more buying expensive Jelly Rolls
  • Multiple size options for flexible binding strip creation
  • Use with cotton, batik, flannel, fleece, Cuddle®, and more
  • Perfect for stash-busting projects and colorful quilt edges

To use, simply sew the short edges of each strip right sides together using a ¼" seam allowance. Press seams open, fold the strip in half wrong sides together, and you're ready to bind! The included cutting guides help you place fabric properly for consistent results. Free downloadable patterns are available to help get you started.

Why choose AccuQuilt dies?

  • Faster cutting: Cut more fabric in less time
  • Precision: No slipping rulers or misaligned edges
  • Ease of use: Layer die, fabric, and mat—then cut
  • Two-Tone Foam: Maximize fabric by placing only over shapes you want
  • Safe: Blades never touch your fingers

Helpful tips for best results

  • Some threads may remain after cutting—snip with scissors as needed
  • Align fabric with the blade edges, not the die board
  • Use high-quality fabric to avoid stretching
  • Always test cut one shape first to confirm correct orientation
