The HQ Stitch 610 offers a 10-inch all-metal flatbed, 172 built-in stitches, and 9mm stitch width. The included straight-stitch needle plate and one-push plate conversion let you switch between piecing and free-motion quilting without tools.
10-Inch All-Metal Flatbed
The 10-inch continuous flatbed provides generous workspace to the right of the needle for managing large quilts and bulky projects. The all-metal construction and aluminum outer body give you stability and durability. At 34 lbs, the machine remains portable enough for classes and retreats.
172 Built-In Stitches
Choose from 172 stitches including utility, quilting, decorative, and 9 buttonhole styles. Two alphabet fonts in block and script provide upper and lowercase letters in 5mm and 7mm sizes. The 3.6" backlit LCD display shows your stitch selection clearly, and last stitch recall saves your settings even after powering off.
7-Piece Feed Dog System
The 7-piece feed dog system feeds fabric smoothly regardless of weight or texture. Drop the feed dogs below the needle plate for free motion quilting. The extra high presser foot lift handles denim seams and bulky fabric layers without struggling.
One-Push Needle Plate Conversion
Switch between needle plates without screws or tools. The included straight-stitch needle plate provides a small needle hole for precise piecing and prevents fabric from being pushed into the machine. The one-push conversion with two included plates lets you change quickly between piecing and decorative work.
Quilter-Focused Convenience
The automatic thread cutter trims threads with one touch, speeding up chain piecing. Three LED lights illuminate the needle area and bed surface. The Start/Stop button provides fingertip control, and the speed control slider lets you set slower speeds for detailed work or higher speeds for long seams. A horizontal top-loading bobbin with clear cover makes thread monitoring easy.
