Janome MB-4S: 4-Needle Embroidery With a 9.4" x 7.9" Field
The Janome MB-4S is a single head four needle embroidery machine with a 9.4" x 7.9" embroidery field, 50 built-in designs, and a 5.7" Remote Computer Screen. Load up to four thread colors, start the design, and move on to other work while it stitches. Janome built it to work with most embroidery formats, including the formats used by industry professionals.
Four Needles, Fewer Thread Changes
Four needles hold four thread colors at once, so a multi-color design sews with fewer manual thread changes. Upper thread and presser foot sensors watch the stitching, and auto return after a thread break brings the machine back to where it stopped. Last stitch recall is included.
9.4" x 7.9" Field and Three Hoops
The M1 hoop sews the full 9.4" x 7.9" field (238 x 200 mm). Smaller designs fit the M2 (5" x 4.3") and M3 (50 mm x 50 mm) hoops. The MB-4S also works with six industry-standard Tajima hoops, and a hat hoop is available separately.
Designs, Fonts, and Formats
The machine holds 50 built-in designs and 10 fonts, including 2 and 3 letter monogramming. Transfer designs by USB or USB host in .jef, .jef+, or .dst format, then edit on the 5.7" Remote Computer Screen: enlarge or reduce, rotate, turnover, drag and drop, re-edit, zoom, arc, and combine. Embroidery area tracing, a stitch counter, and a stitch-out time indicator are built in.
Speed, Bobbin, and Lighting
Embroidery speed reaches 800 stitches per minute. The extra large bobbin is 1.4 times larger than a regular bobbin, an independent motor winds bobbins, and 4 white LED lamps light the needle area. Programmable jump thread trimming and the automatic thread cutter handle thread ends.
