Janome Memory Craft 1000: Sewing and Embroidery in One Machine
The Janome Memory Craft 1000 combines 300 built-in stitches and 241 built-in embroidery designs in one machine with a 3.5 in. LCD color touchscreen. It embroiders a 5.5" x 5.5" field and sews at up to 860 stitches per minute.
5.5" x 5.5" Embroidery Field
The included SQ14e hoop (140 x 140 mm) sets the embroidery field at 5.5" x 5.5". Embroidery speed runs from 400 to 660 stitches per minute and can be adjusted while the machine stitches. The machine cuts jump threads, detects thread breaks, and returns automatically after a break.
241 Designs, 11+ Fonts, and On-Screen Editing
The library holds 241 built-in designs and 11+ embroidery fonts, with 2 and 3 letter monogramming. Edit on the touchscreen with resize, rotate, combine, duplicate, flip, arc, group, zoom, and single-color stitching. Memory holds up to 2.5 MB, and designs load in .JEF and .JEF+ formats.
300 Stitches and 12 One-Step Buttonholes
Sewing mode offers 300 stitches with 3 fonts, 12 one-step buttonholes, and up to 100 stitch combinations. Stitch width reaches 7 mm and length reaches 5 mm. The machine has a twin needle setting, and the Superior Feed System Plus uses a 7-piece feed dog.
Easy-Lift Magnetic Needle Plate
The easy-lift magnetic needle plate has a sensor, and a straight stitch needle plate is included. A Superior Needle Threader 2, an automatic thread cutter, and an easy set top-loading full rotary hook bobbin are also built in.
Built-In Accessory Storage
The extension table doubles as accessory storage. It comes off for free arm sewing, and two LEDs in two locations light the work area. The machine has 7.1 inches of space to the right of the needle, with a workspace height of 4.3 in. Included accessories also cover a seam ripper, lint brush, thread snips, and a touch panel stylus.
