Industrial Box Feed System
The box feed system, adapted from Juki's industrial machines, moves the feed dogs in a square motion instead of an oval. This feeds fabric more evenly and prevents shifting, especially on heavy materials like denim and multiple layers. The HZL-DX7 has 287 built-in stitches, 16 sensor one-step buttonholes and 4 alphabetic and numeric fonts. Stitches reach 7mm wide and 5mm long, at up to 1,050 stitches per minute with fast, normal and slow settings.
What is the box feed system?
The box feed system is an industrial-grade feed that moves the feed dogs in a box-shaped path for consistent stitching on heavy, slippery or high-pile fabrics. For free-motion work you can drop the feed dogs and sew straight or zigzag stitches.
What convenience features does it have?
An automatic needle threader, an automatic thread trimmer you can trigger by button or heel, and an electronic presser foot lift with a pivot function that raises the foot when you stop. You can also adjust the starting and reverse stitch speed.
What comes in the box?
A hard case, wide table, knee lifting lever, foot controller and 12 presser feet, including a walking foot, quilt foot and patchwork foot. Bobbins, needles, a twin needle, quilt guide, eyelet punch and basic tools are also included.
